Charles van der Straten Waillet currently serves as Chairman of CS Holding, a Brussels based Communication Consultancy company he founded in 1993. Prior to this position he spent 25 years with another communication consultancy, which he co-founded and developed, before it merged with Shandwick. He is a former board member and twice President of the International Public Relations Association,chairman of the Belgian MS (multiple sclerosis) Society,board member of the International MS Federation (MSIF) and of the Belgian Brain Council. He is also a board member of the African Chamber of Commerce in Belgium (CBL-ACP Chamber) and of United Fund for Belgium.

Frank ExFrank Ex: The Netherlands
As Chief Executive Officer of IATEC, a Clinical Research Organization, Frank Ex’s specific focus is on prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS and other viral infections. He is board member of Health[e]Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, that focuses on sustainable methods of training and educating on treatment and prevention of communicable and poverty related diseases. He has over 25 years experience in project management in various surroundings, of which the last 10 years in clinical trials.

Hans MegensHans Megens: The Netherlands
An agribusiness executive with extensive international experience, Mr. Megens has been Managing Director of Food and Agribusiness, responsible for worldwide food and agribusiness activities of Rabobank International, a subsidiary of Rabobank, Netherlands. He worked during his career for several international food and agri companies and has carried out assignments for Winrock International in Bolivia and Mali.

Jonathan TaylorJonathan Taylor (CBA): United Kingdom
Chair of the School of Oriental & African Studies (University of London) Jonathan Taylor currently serves as governor of the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, and a director of the International Institute for the Environment and Development. He is a current chair of the Booker Prize Foundation, Caine Prize for African Writing, and International Prize for Arabic Fiction. He was previously chair of Booker plc, the international agribusiness and food distribution company.

Heinrich ToepferHeinrich Toepfer: Germany
Founder of Toepfer Transport GMBH, an independent ship broking firm, Heinrich Toepfer has also founded Agriworld AG, a global farm consulting and management company with offices in the U.S., Europe, South America and Australia. He is a member of the International Policy Council on Agriculture, Food and Trade, and Advisory Board Member of the World Agriculture Forum. Before retiring he worked for many years in the global grain trading house “Alfred C. Toepfer” and is a current board member of the Toepfer Foundation in Europe and the U.S.

Frank TugwellFrank Tugwell: United States
As President and Chief Executive Officer of Winrock International, Frank Tugwell currently leads the organization in its quest to increase economic opportunity, sustain natural resources, and protect the environment. Prior to this, Tugwell served as executive director of the Heinz Endowments of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is the founder and first president of the Environmental Enterprises Fund and has previously served Winrock as vice president of Programs and Global Projects and director of the Renewable Energy and the Environment Program.

Moniel VerhoevenMoniel Verhoeven: France A cultural anthropologist, Moniel Verhoeven has extensive field experience in West-Africa and Ile-de-France, with expertise in the fields of socio-economical and mental health problems. She created the Jean Monnet round table conferences on the peaceful use of European space programs for development and is a current member of the board of the European SPES Forum (Spirituality in Economics and Society, Catholic University, Leuven, Belgium), as well as a member of the GAIC (Groupe d’Amitié Islamo-Chrétienne, Paris).
