Goal
The goal of this short-term contract is to provide capacity building to market actors in business management skills, plan development and analysis, and financial mediation to help market actors access finance that they can use to develop, expand, and improve their agribusiness.
What We Do
Feed the Future Mali Sugu Yiriwa, funded by USAID/Mali, is a five-year activity, launched in early 2021 and implemented by CNFA. Sugu Yiriwa's goal is to strengthen market systems to sustainably improve household incomes and nutritional status. EUCORD has a subcontract to develop support plans and business plans for target partners of Sugu Yiriwa.
Expected Results
- 34 support plans are available for Farmers Organization
- 10 support plans are available for young people aged 15 to 29 years old
- 3 support plans are available for processing units; 19 support plans are available for cereal wholesalers
- 10 support plans are available for agrodealers; 13 plans are available for poultry farmers
- 12 support plans are available for small ruminant traders
- 2 participants of the B2B forum have a business plan and are put. in contact with a financial institution
- 10 young people and women (including 3 young girls and boys from 15 to 29 years old and 7 women) have a business plan and are put in contact with a financial institution
- 3 applicants for post-harvest equipment have a business plan and are put in contact with a financial institution
- 5 small ruminant traders have a business plan and are put in contact with a financial institution
