What we did
A team from EUCORD went to Jamaica to do an cassava value chain assessment in June 2016 to support Red Stripe in improving its cassava supply chain by engaging local farmers, ensuring sustainable sourcing for production. Red Strip sought EUCORD’s recommendations on:
- Project structure and team and how to manage the project
- Funding sources
- How to structure pricing for small farmers
- What mix of small, medium and large farmers
